When was the last time you updated your profile(s) on your social media accounts ?
That long ago ?!
Well its time to have a re-look at your old dusty profile with a fresh eye and time to
maximize your social media efforts by having an interesting and engaging profile.
You uploaded your head shot to your favorite social media channel – but it doesn’t look exactly
like you want it too – it re-sized your photo, or blew it up too big. Not the great first
impression you wanted to give your potential customer.
So what are the correct sizes ? Good question. I wish I could give you a one-size fits all answer – however most social media photo sizing requirements change over time. My advice is to
Google it and in the search options look results that are fairly current.
#2. SEO – Keywords
Having your keywords contained in your profiles helps your Search Engine Optimization (S.E.O.).
Use Google’s Keyword Tool to ensure your business is linked with the right keywords.
#3. Crack That Egg
Time to ditch the Egg or generic head outline. BE REAL. Don’t hide behind that Company logo or cute kitten photo. We want to see the real you – yes we know you are not a super model but we still want to see the real you behind that social media channel. “Hey I recognize him/her from that thing and I think I will contact them to buy…”.
