The Challenge
BHRN had an established website that had served the organization for many years. As the organization evolved, the website needed to better reflect its current identity and make important information easier to find.

Rather than simply updating the visual design, the redesign focused on the needs of BHRN’s audience and the actions the organization wanted visitors to take.
What We Changed – And Why
1. Modernized the Visual Design – We replaced BHRN’s dated visual presentation with a clean, professional design that better reflects the organization and its role in the local HR community. A refreshed colour palette, typography, imagery, spacing and content hierarchy create a more polished and engaging experience.
2. Simplified the User Experience – The site’s content and navigation were reorganized to make important information easier to find. Clearer page structures and calls-to-action help visitors quickly access events, membership, resources and contact information without having to work through the older, more cluttered interface.
3. Put Events & Membership at the Centre – Events are now given much greater prominence, with upcoming events surfaced directly on the homepage and dedicated event information making it easier for visitors to learn more and register. Membership opportunities are also more visible, with stronger calls-to-action encouraging visitors to take the next step.
4. Built a More Flexible Website for BHRN – The new WordPress website was rebuilt with a more flexible structure that allows BHRN staff to manage and update their own content, including events, resources and organizational information. The redesigned site also provides a stronger foundation for ongoing content updates, SEO and future growth.
