1. We understand you love airshows and are involved with the organizing of various air shows. What got you into air shows ?
My involvement in air shows began in 2002 when helping my cousin. She worked for the Untied Way, who then hosted the air show, and I offered to design the dinner tickets. Over 12 years my role has grown to event director. This is everything from planning port-o-potties to performers!
2. What is your favourite aspect about air shows?
My favourite aspect of an air show is the fact that it brings so many people together of diverse backgrounds, interests, and ages together. When most eyes are to the skies, I’m the one looking behind me at the crowd, when I can take in the enjoyment on the faces of those around me.
3. Approximately how many air shows have you been involved with, and what cities/regions ?
The number of shows I have attended has grown so large that I can’t recall, but I have been involved with a number of shows across the province including Brantford, Hamilton, Waterloo, Borden, Toronto, Windsor, and St. Thomas.
4. What brought you to Silver 6 Media ?
The reason we chose to work with Silver 6 Media is because as a local organization we believe in supporting businesses in the Brantford area. The local knowledge that Silver 6 offers is unsurpassed, and has helped us with our networking efforts to raise the profile of our event.

For a business looking to grow or begin their online presence, I would recommend that they contact Silver 6 because the customer service is personalized for each client. The online world can be daunting and overwhelming. 6. What is the secret of launching a successful air show event?
The secret to having a successful air show event is in the planning before the event happens. Our team of dedicated organizers and volunteers, strive to offer variety for all spectators, activities for all ages, proper amenities, and even logistics with our police services. A well-planned event begins with the hours put in before the first guest arrives.
